Highlights
As far as I can see, grief will never truly end. It may grow softer over time, more gentle, and some days will feel sharp.
But grief will last as long as love does - forever. It's simply the way the absence of your loved one manifests in your heart. A deep longing, accompanied by the deepest love.
Some days, the heavy fog may return, and the next day, it may recede, once again. It's all an ebb and flow, a constant dance of sorrow and joy, pain and sweet love.

Innovations in health technology will change the world.
There's no doubt about that. But I do wonder, how do we protect people along the way?
Startups don't have the red tape that healthcare or academic organizations do. While lack of formal processes enables faster innovation, it could also lead to a a failure to identify safety concerns.
There are times that decision-making falls to a sole executive. Other times, the Board is involved. Sometimes (hopefully!) scientists and clinicians have a voice in the company.
I've worked as a clinician, scientist and executive. While each role brings a different perspective, they don't need to be at odds. Collaborative decision-making is a real strength, especially when it comes to something as serious as safety.
Industry scientists and digital health leaders (I'd love to hear from Trust & Safety folks too!), who's the ideal decision maker in cases of safety within digital products? I'd love to hear from...
