Katie Quigley Mellor is the Program Director of Social Entrepreneurship at Innovate@BU, Boston University. She supports all Social Impact Innovators and can provide guidance on nonprofits, B Corps, for-profit businesses with social missions, theatre, arts, food, and gardening.12

As a Terrier F1RSTS Advocate, Katie is committed to supporting first-generation students in their innovation journey. She believes in creating a more innovative society that serves all people by supporting diverse perspectives, passions, and lived experiences.1

Katie identifies as a white woman and uses she/her pronouns. Originally from Huntington Station, Long Island, she speaks American English and has interests in health, social sciences, art and humanities, and business.1

Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her toddler and her pittie lab mix, Artemis. Her hobbies include hiking, gardening, and cooking. With a background in theater performance, she continues to support friends when their shows come to Boston.12
