Katy's career has seen her in key roles such as Head of Disaster Management at the British Red Cross, Humanitarian Advisor at the Department for International Development, and Country Director at Save the Children UK.

Her specialties encompass government liaison, training course development and delivery, management of large-scale aid programs, international humanitarian law, human resource management, negotiation, risk and security management, project management, and report writing.

With a goal to lead non-governmental organizations towards more effective action in conflict-affected regions based on humanitarian principles, she aims to elevate the standards of senior management and policy-making in the humanitarian aid sector.

Katy Attfield's educational background includes studying at Croydon High School for Girls and completing a BA Honours in Classics at UCL.
