Kayla L. Caldwell is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and rich experience in international development and program management.

She obtained her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Economics and International Relations from the University of Southern California, and also pursued a David L. Boren Scholarship in French under the National Security Education Program.

Kayla's educational journey includes studying at Lakeside School in Seattle for high school, further enriching her academic foundation.

In her professional career, Kayla served as the Subgrant and Capacity Building Officer for the Youth Excel Project at IREX, showcasing her expertise in enhancing organizational capacities.

Prior to that role, she held positions at World Education, starting as a Junior Program Officer and eventually advancing to Program Officer within the Bantwana Initiative.

Kayla also gained valuable experience as a Staff Associate in the Bantwana Initiative and Africa Division at World Education, demonstrating her commitment to international development.

Her passion for promoting civil society in East Africa was evident during her time as an East African Civil Society Program Intern at Wellspring Advisors.

Her professional journey includes diverse roles such as Program Assistant, Legislative and Public Affairs Intern, and Undergraduate Student Consultant at various esteemed organizations like Joint Educational Project, USAID, and the American Language Institute.

Kayla's dedication to education and training is highlighted through her internship at the Northwest Regional Primary Care Association and her role as a Mentor at CollegeSpring.

Throughout her career, Kayla L. Caldwell has consistently exhibited a strong work ethic, a passion for international development, and a commitment to making a positive impact in communities.
