Keane Southard (b. 1987) is a highly acclaimed composer and pianist known for his diverse musical tastes and exceptional talent.

His music has been described as a 'terrific discovery' and 'highly professional and well-orchestrated,' reflecting influences from medieval chant to 70's rock, Bach to the Blues, and more.

Keane has garnered several awards, including the Yale Glee Club's Emerging Composers Competition and the Capital Hearings Young Composers Competition.

He holds a Master's degree in Music Composition from the University of Colorado-Boulder and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in composition at the prestigious Eastman School of Music.

Throughout his career, Keane has been associated with various organizations, including serving as a Fulbright Fellow in Brazil and holding positions at prominent musical institutions.

His educational journey includes studies at renowned institutions such as Baldwin-Wallace College and the Bowdoin International Music Festival.
