Highlights
Recently, I have been meditating more in public.
My meditation teacher suggested this to his students and I initially felt some resistance. However, as more people open up to me about their anxiety, depression, restlessness, and doubts in their life it’s clear to meditative or yogic practices should not be a secret.
Why should it be? It has helped dig me out of everything from panic attacks to general malaise. Over time I’ve experienced more clarity in my thinking and emotions. In the last few months I’ve been on a semi-retreat and learned more about myself in this time period than life experience has taught me in years. For me, meditation is not some airy-fairy, voodoo, new-age practice. It’s the opposite — studying one's mind and body is actually grounded in reality.
I don’t write this post in hopes to convert everyone into meditators but to be open to the idea of studying oneself. Self knowledge and mastery is not just reserved for CEOs or elite athletes. It’s available to you and it is up to you to prioritize your well-being.

Hey folks! 👋
After 3+ years, it's the end of my ride at Lyft. Last week I was affected by the latest workforce reduction.
Lots of love to the Lyft family, past and present. I've ran into such kind, genuine people while working at this company that I cannot count the number of times l've smiled when jumping on a meeting. Too many people to mention, but I'll shoutout Jackie O'Dwyer & Jeff Tran, CPA for hiring me & helping me build my unique path at the company and extend a warm thank you to my cross-functional colleagues who I'll sorely miss seeing every week ❤️
I'll be taking some time off to reset but am quite excited for the future! Lastly, I'm here for anyone else affected who needs to chat.
😊 #lyft #lyftlayoffs
