Highlights
I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: Machine Learning for Big Data and Text Processing: Advanced from MIT Professional Education!
Day 1 of the MIT Professional Education course in AI and ML done. While it started with some fairly basic principles, it escalated quite quickly requiring me to dust off some math and the day ended with coding and test a basic ML algorithm in Python! (Victor Gonzalez and Tre' Sellari you would be proud of my ‘jenky’ scripts). Excited to see what we cover the rest of week 1.
One key takeaway was the size of the data set matters, which if you look at Datadog we collect significantly larger datasets than any observability platform on the market, giving our ML a much more meaningful output. Also pretty cool to see a lot of our major customers in the class and everyone knew about us. #neverstoplearning
