Within medtech, developing innovative therapy options isn’t always enough. Improving access to that innovation is critical. At Abbott, we’ve invested significantly in robust clinical trials over the past decade to ensure people living with early stage heart failure can have access to our CardioMEMS HF System. The technology is that important for patients and the physicians caring for them. Today, we took another step forward in broadening access to more patients as CMS has officially opened the National Coverage Analysis process toward establishing a National Coverage Determination for CardioMEMS.
