Keith Halverstam is the Global Vice Chair of Latham's Capital Markets and Public Company Representation Practices with extensive experience in advising clients on capital markets transactions and public company representation matters.

With a background in corporate governance and ESG matters, Keith counsels a diverse clientele ranging from Fortune 250 corporations to newly public technology and life sciences companies, as well as major investment banks.

His expertise spans various types of financing transactions, including initial public offerings, SPAC and deSPAC transactions, high-yield and investment grade bond offerings, leveraged buyout financings, and equity offerings.

Keith Halverstam holds a JD from the University of Chicago Law School, a BA in Economics and Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis, and attended Tenafly High School.

Prior to his current role, he served as a Partner and Co-Chair of the New York Corporate Department at Latham & Watkins, as well as holding positions at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and clerking at the U.S. Court of Appeal for the 7th Circuit.
