🔍 Stellar review by Search Engine Journal and writer Sam Hollingsworth! 🌟According to the review, Startpage is a privacy-focused search engine that prioritizes user data protection while delivering an exceptional search experience.

"Startpage is a search engine focused on privacy that doesn't collect or use user data, yet still provides a winning search experience."

In a landscape where numerous search engines have either merged or lost their way, Startpage has remained steadfast and continues to attract millions of searches every month.

Kudos to Startpage for their outstanding work in creating a search engine that respects privacy without compromising on search quality. If you value your online privacy and desire a top-notch search experience, I highly recommend giving Startpage a try. Proud marketing moment. Startpage received the German Brand Award Special Mention in the category Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation - Brand Communication –Ambient Media and Outdoor Advertising.

Last spring, we launched our first media campaign to raise awareness on the importance of protecting people’s right to privacy. We partnered with the talented team at Foundry based in Berlin who creatively conceptualized the many reasons why journalists, activists, creators, technologists and everyday people choose to search anonymously using Startpage. The cross-media campaign “Your search. Your thing.” gave the topic a face(s) and shed light on what we prefer to keep to ourselves: political attitudes, inclination towards BDSM or even the love of cat memes.

Awards feel nice, but mostly it’s encouraging to know that our brand purpose is impactful. It's a powerful message we share we other privacy-minded organizations that are bringing privacy to the masses including EFF Organization ACLU Fight for the Future The Tor Project Freedom of the Press Foundation Future of Privacy Forum The Markup Signal Messenger Vivaldi Technologies Bitwarden StartMail Proton Mastodon Waterfox Ltd. Protected.net (to name a few).

Congrats to everyone who worked so hard to bring Startpage's important message to life! Startpage System1 SamyRoad Jacqueline Thomas Dennington Hugo Bosio Gustavo Nardini Jarin Morovà Markus Neumann Sacha Moser Eva Lutterbuese
