Our culture often equates busyness with productivity, but true leadership isn't about how many hours you put in - it's about the clarity and vision you bring to those hours.

This is why rest is so crucial.

I know, I know, pausing might seem counterintuitive, but I’ve learned that the most sustainable form of leadership comes when you’re well-rested.

That’s why I integrate deliberate rest periods into my schedule as a strategic decision. I find that after taking a break, I always return with more creativity and sharper decision-making abilities.

And that’s why I’ve taken most of August off.

It’s been an opportunity to recharge fully with myself and my family, reflect on achievements and learnings, and strategize for the busy months ahead.

Taking time to recharge isn’t just good self-care - it’s smart leadership. It's about making sure you can bring your best self to your work and your challenges, every single day.
