Highlights
While the schedule release has become the Super Bowl for sports marketers, it's more than a showboat exercise. The right marketing strategy can harness exceptional creativity to transform awareness and interest into action.
This year's concept, "Nuckflix," tapped into popular culture and AI to showcase our brand, players, and season schedule in a fun and relatable way (conducive to repeat viewing). Impressions and engagement are nearly 300% of benchmark but importantly so is follower growth and lead gen. This type of creative helps drive our business.
We've built a culture of collaboration at CSE. Over 20 people worked on this project. However, we don't get to this result without the creative genius and determination of Myles McCutcheon, Bernadette Larose, Brett Lee, Delaney L., and Alex Wilde nor the marketing strategy and execution of Hannah Wilkinson, Anne Lewicki, CJ King, and John D.. Major kudos!
You’ve got to be prepared for success. Before the hockey club began its inspiring run to Round 2 and Game 7, John D. and Myles McCutcheon developed a platform-specific, player-driven, and culturally-relevant social and content strategy to capitalize on every possible moment. Courtesy of Zoomph, we know it worked as we led the NHL in impressions and engagements through two rounds.
Congratulations to John and Myles who lead our social and content teams, respectively. You’re two of the best in the business, and you’ve built departments to match.
Major kudos to Samantha Fleming, RD MHSc and Allen Agco for their insightful and tireless social publishing. This extends to Bernadette Larose, Chris Holmes, Brett Lee, Evan Samson, Hawkin Paleczny, Paul Albi, and the many others who created brilliant content. We also can’t forget our social design duo in Ethan Low and André Finhana.
