Kelvin Goh

APAC EHS+S Director at Microsoft

Kelvin Goh is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in operational data centers. As the APAC leader for Environment, Health, and Security (EHS) at Microsoft, he has been leading a team of over 60 professionals and vendors since July 2020. Kelvin collaborates closely with regional leaders in Operations, Critical Environments, Site Selection, and Construction to ensure safe and secure implementations across APAC data centers.

From April 2003 to June 2020, Kelvin accumulated extensive operational expertise managing data centers for Microsoft. By June 2020, he was overseeing a team of more than 70 experts in Information Technology, Critical Environments, and Real Estate and Facilities, supporting round-the-clock data center operations and physical infrastructure.

Throughout his career, Kelvin Goh has been recognized with several awards, including the Microsoft CVP MCIO Role Model Award in 2016, the GM Award in 2012, the DCS Honor Roll in 2012, and various contributions to product launches such as Bing (2009), MSN (2004, 2005, 2011), and MSIT (2014). His outstanding performance has also earned him the Gold Star Bonus Award from Microsoft in 2007 and a Letter of Commendation from Commerce Exchange in 2000.

Kelvin pursued his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the National University of Singapore. Throughout his career, he has held various roles at Microsoft, including Campus Director, Datacenter Operations Manager, Facilities Program Manager, and Hosting Manager. Prior to Microsoft, he served as a Systems Engineer at SingNet and held positions at Avanade Asia and Commerce Exchange.
