Ken Souza, CTP

Ken Souza is the Assistant Vice President of Investments at the University of South Florida (USF) Foundation. He has held this position since December 2008.1

Prior to joining USF, Souza worked in asset management at Fidelity Investments and in insurance portfolio investing at New York Life.1 As the Foundation's investment director, he oversees over $600 million in endowment and operating pool assets.1

Souza's responsibilities include leading investment initiatives, coordinating research with the Foundation's investment consultant, conducting due diligence on current and prospective managers, and reporting to the Foundation's Investment Committee.1 He also serves on the advisory board for the Student Managed Investment Fund in the USF Muma College of Business and is an investment committee member for the Hillsborough Education Foundation and the Tampa Bay History Center Foundation.1

Souza graduated from Merrimack College in 2000 and obtained an MBA from Suffolk University in 2005.1 He is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).2
