Ken Tan is an accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and extensive professional experience in the field of education and public service.

He holds a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation from Boston College, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education in Physics and Mathematics Education from Nanyang Technological University, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from Yale University.

Ken has held various key positions in different organizations, including being an Assistant Director at the Ministry of Education, Singapore (MOE), an Assistant Director at Civil Service College, and Head of Department for Character and Citizenship Education at Bartley Secondary School.

He also has experience as a Planning Officer at MOE, Assistant Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Senior Head in Policy at MOE, Subject Head in Mathematics at North Vista Secondary School, and Management Associate at Standard Chartered Bank.
