Just in time for Hacker Summer Camp, Sunoo Park and I have updated the guide to legal risk for security researchers! We wrote this document to help folks understand their legal risks even if they can't work with an attorney, as well as how to find an attorney if they need one, and it's co-published with the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), the Technology Law and Policy Clinic at NYU, and of course, the Cyberlaw Clinic at Harvard Law School. Please share this with anyone who might find it useful!

Some big news: After almost 7 years, I’m leaving the Cyberlaw Clinic this week! It’s been an amazing run. I’m going to be moving to Philadelphia and taking some time off.

What's next? Well...

In 2025, Andy Sellars and I will be opening a public interest technology and media law firm – working with clients who need lawyers who get both the technology and their values. Full launch (and quite possibly, a manifesto) coming in the fall!
