Kenneth Paul is a lifelong learner who has extensively studied leadership and management, governance, social cohesion, culture and the environment, and economic sustainability. He is a Director of Fisheries at the Assembly of First Nations, where he employs his expertise in fisheries and integrated resources. He has also held critical positions at the Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nation Chiefs Secretariat, Confederacy of Mainland Mi'kmaq, Parks Canada, and Canadian Hydrographic Service. Instead, he acknowledges the tremendous influence of the people he has had the privilege to learn from and work with, and he supports initiatives promoting good governance, economic sustainability, and social cohesion.

Below are links to surveys on women's empowerment and the promotion of gender equality in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This initiative, launched in collaboration with Gender Scan, aims to better understand the motivations and challenges faced by students and professionals in scientific fields, addressing issues such as harassment, leadership barriers, and pay gaps.
Additionally, the data collected will contribute to the preparation of a report on the status of women in STEM, which UNESCO, in collaboration with the working group on women's empowerment recently established by the Brazilian presidency, will present at the upcoming G20 summit.
