Kenny’s educational background is as impressive as his professional accomplishments. He holds a Licenciatura (5-year BA) in Humanidades from Alcalá de Henares University in Spain, where he developed a foundation in humanistic studies that informs his holistic approach to leadership. He furthered his education with a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Trinity International University in the United States, specializing in Theological Ethics and Church History. This strong theological grounding has significantly shaped his work within religious institutions and communities.
Adding to his diverse educational portfolio, Kenny has enriched his global perspective through an exchange program at Durham University in the UK, where he studied Philosophy. He also pursued executive education at INSEAD Business School in Paris, completing the ISEP program focused on Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This combination of rigorous academic training and practical experience positions Kenny as a thought leader in the nonprofit sector and social entrepreneurship.
In his professional journey, Kenny has held several notable positions, each contributing to his extensive experience. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Hello Europe Initiative at Ashoka, where he leads efforts to empower social entrepreneurs and promote innovative solutions to pressing social challenges. Previously, he worked as a strategy consultant, leveraging his insights to help organizations develop effective strategies tailored to their unique missions and objectives. Kenny also collaborated with Hydra Social Media, where he applied his expertise in digital communication to enhance organizational outreach and engagement.
His commitment to community service is further evidenced by his role as the Associate Pastor of Extension Ministries at Christ Community Evangelical Free Church, where he not only managed ministry teams but also engaged with the local community through service outreach. Additionally, as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Trinity International University, he played a key role in shaping the educational journeys of students pursuing theological studies. Kenny also contributed as the Young Changemakers Coordinator at Ashoka, where he focused on nurturing youth-led initiatives for social change.
