Highlights
AI is a reflection of what we teach it. We need to fix this. Thinking that surely we can teach an AI to protect the rights of others and bring more equity.. and hopefully we teach our children the same. #ethicsinai #ai #womensday
REA Group has launched it's first official meet-up, Unstack'd. We will be kicking things off in Sydney and I am delighted to be taking part and sharing what we are up to here in REA.
The topic of the night is Event-driven Architecture which is core to our tech strategy.
I will kick things off, sharing a few stories about timely data and will cover how REA is building flexible and resilient event-driven systems and how we think about data when building products. We will be hearing from Jonathan Schoeller who will be covering Data Liberation Patterns for Event-Driven Architectures. Following this, Alison Rosewarne and Craig T. will be taking part in a panel discussion.
It should be an awesome night and can't wait to connect with peers both at REA and externally. Shout out if you have any questions and make sure to RSVP below now as spaces are limited.
