Kenzie Bok is a prominent figure in Boston's political landscape, currently serving as the City Councilor for District 8, representing Mission Hill, Fenway, Back Bay, Beacon Hill, and the West End.

Before her tenure on the City Council, Kenzie Bok was actively involved in shaping affordable housing policy and planning at the Boston Housing Authority while also teaching undergraduate seminars at Harvard on topics such as intellectual history and the philosophy of housing policy.

With a diverse educational background, Kenzie Bok holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Cambridge, where she specialized in the history of political thought. She also pursued an MPhil at Cambridge and was a special student at Harvard University. Her academic journey includes studies at Milton Academy, The Park School, and the John Winthrop School.

Furthermore, Kenzie Bok has a strong background in grassroots political engagement, having been an Intern at The White House and HQ at Obama for America. She also ran as a Candidate for District 8 at the Boston City Council, showcasing her commitment to public service and community representation.

A dedicated Bostonian, Kenzie Bok's return to the city in 2016 following her time on a Marshall Scholarship at the University of Cambridge underscores her passion for driving positive change within her community. Her ongoing manuscript on the philosopher John Rawls highlights her academic rigor and commitment to exploring the intersections of ethics and political philosophy in a post-World War II context.
