Kerala Taylor, CUDE, is an award-winning writer and marketing professional with a strong belief in the cooperative and inclusive economy.

She is a dedicated proponent of co-ops, B Corps, and nonprofits that challenge traditional business norms.

Kerala co-founded a magazine that later merged with The National Geographic Society and currently writes weekly stories aimed at disrupting societal norms around work, gender roles, and relationships.

She studied Hispanic Studies, English, Honors in Creative Writing, Creative Writing, and Education at Brown University, as well as at Universidad Mayor de San Andrés in Bolivia.

Her professional journey includes roles such as Freelance Writer at Substack and Medium, Co-Owner and Director of Marketing & Impact at PixelSpoke, Director of Marketing and Communications at Oregon Entrepreneurs Network, Senior Manager of Digital Engagement and Marketing at KaBOOM!, and Editorial Director of Glimpse.org at the National Geographic Society.

Kerala also served as the Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief at Glimpse and held a PR Coordinator position at the Immigrants in Action Committee.

Her diverse educational background and extensive experience in writing and marketing make her a valuable asset in promoting cooperative and innovative business models.
