Kevin Gascoyne is a British tea taster with a deep-rooted love for tea, having started buying it in Asia since 1989.

He is known for obsessively sourcing the finest seasonal tea leaves from the Himalayas and various other countries, particularly black teas from India.

In Canada, Kevin co-owns and manages the award-winning Camellia Sinensis teahouses and Tea Schools in Montréal and Québec City.

He is a co-founder of the Tea Studio project in Nilgiri, India, contributing to the global tea community.

Kevin is a prolific writer, having co-authored acclaimed tea books like 'Tea, History, Terroirs, Varieties,' which was voted the World's Best Tea Book in 2014.

His writings have been published in multiple languages, showcasing his knowledge and expertise in the tea industry.

Apart from his literary contributions, Kevin engages in various tea-related activities like blogs, workshops, conferences, seminars, and field consulting across North America, Africa, Europe, and Asia.

Kevin Gascoyne also serves as a director of the Canadian Tea and Herbal Association and has launched the Tea Masters Cup Canada competition, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the tea culture.

His colleagues jokingly mention that his daily tea consumption could rival the flow of some small rivers, highlighting his profound dedication to the art of tea.
