Who knows more about a company — the leader or the employees?

Years ago, I took a course at Harvard that looked at the classic company pyramid: CEO at the top, senior management in the middle, and the ground team at the bottom.

The CEO usually deals with senior leaders, while the ground team shares insights within their level.

But it’s often the middle managers who know the most.

They connect with both the top and the bottom, asking questions like, “How are you feeling?” or, “Do we have a good chance in that pitch?”

The middle of the organisation might be the most important part, as that’s where the honest feedback can appear the most.

Do you agree?

Avoid common traps in SEO by…

STAYING FOCUSSED!

SEO can be a vast, complex landscape with countless avenues to explore. In my experience, one of the biggest client-side pitfalls is losing focus due to tech resource constraints.

Developers are often booked out, juggling 100 tasks, and without proper prioritisation, the most critical SEO changes can take months.

The key is prioritising fewer tasks but executing them flawlessly.

Our role is to support clients in this process.

We prioritise actions using an opportunity scorecard—evaluating site traffic impact and difficulty.

For instance, a CMS platform change is a major project and might not be the first thing to tackle.

Instead, simpler tasks like on-page optimisation can be pushed through quickly for immediate impact.

How do you stay focused and prioritise in your SEO strategy?

What challenges have you faced? Let's chat in the comments!
