Highlights
Please support me as I compete in the Ouimet Sprint for Scholarships! This year my son Griffin will be participating with me as well. He is much more of a “Sprinter” than I am, but together we are looking forward to a father-son golfing experience to raise money for Ouimet Scholars.
I am a proud Ouimet Alum dating back to 1989 and current Vice President of the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund. The Ouimet Fund provides a four-year, financial need-based scholarship to students working in the golf industry in Massachusetts. This year The Fund will distribute $3.4 million to its worthy Scholars---which averages out to more than $10K in financial scholarships per Scholar. This challenge raises crucial dollars for need-based college Scholarships for kids working in golf and they need our support more than ever. Over the course of one hour, I will “sprint” and play as many holes of golf as possible. Growing up working in golf gave me many opportunities and The Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund eased the financial burden of the cost of my college education. The game of golf has given a lot to me, and I ask for your support as I look to give back to the next generation of Ouimet Scholars.
