Highlights
The high for me this week = meeting this guy, Frank Tyneski.
He was the one who designed the Blackberry Pearl 8100!!!! The pearl put BlackBerry on the map for wireless phones, moving away from that ugly Brick phone into something cool and slender. He redesigned the Pearl with 2 unqique aspects: (1) the SureType keyboard, which combined a traditional phone keypad with predictive text input, and (2) the trackball!!
The Pearl was revolutionary. To this day, that was my favorite phone ever!!!!
I was able to text one handed under the table, without looking so no one could see. Can you do that with your iPhone???????
Best part in all of this? Frank and I now work together to develop the next coolest thing at Clearly Filtered.

I know this is a serious topic. In the middle of my online compliance training. But I can't stop laughing at this photo. Does this really happen??!?!?!
Some professional thoughts, as an educator in both professional and Higher Ed:
- We can do better than this for online async delivery videos.
- For information downloads, the bullet point slides is killing me. No wonder no one wants to watch this
- The case-study samples are great!
- can we consider a DRIP-NURTURE training delivered over 14 days? Instead of doing this in a 60 min video, can we do 5 min excerpts over 2 weeks?
- People are educated on the Youtube shorts nowadays. Let's drip people in training.
Just some random thoughts as I look at this photo. What do you say? How can we do better?
