Highlights
Honored to have participated in the 2024 USAID Global Water Workshop last week at West Virginia, USA! 🌍
From May 6 to 10, I had the privilege of joining esteemed colleagues and experts at this flagship event organized by USAID's Center for Water Security, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WSSH) alongside the cross-Bureau Water Technical Working Group.
The workshop was a crucial platform aimed at strengthening the capabilities of Mission Water and Sanitation Specialists, as well as advocates for water security, sanitation, hygiene, and water resource management programming. It's inspiring to see USAID's commitment to envisioning a world where sustainable water supplies meet human, economic, and ecosystem needs, all while navigating the challenges posed by climate change and conflict.
The biennial 2024 Global Water Workshop marks a significant stride towards advancing health, prosperity, stability, and resilience in the regions that need it most. I'm thrilled to have been a part of this initiative and look forward to continuing our collective efforts towards a more sustainable and water-secure future.
