We are so proud and humbled that we have been recognized for the 2nd time "Most Sustainable Company in the Coffee Industry for 2024" by World Finance magazine! 🏆

For over 30 years we have been seeking to embed sustainability in our everyday business. Since 2013 this has been called The Positive Cup – a strategy that remains at the heart of our business and that reinforces our conviction that coffee must be a force for good. An impressive 94% of the coffee we source comes from Nespresso AAA Sustainable Quality™ Program, which directly supports +150,000 coffee farmers and aims to improve their livelihoods while promoting regenerative cultivation practices.   There is still so much more that can and must be done, whilst at the same time I also want to recognize our colleagues and partners working tirelessly together to create positive impacts and make our coffee business a force for good under the leadership of Jérôme Perez.   Don’t hesitate to discover or rediscover our sustainability strategy. https://lnkd.in/d2Rsbydm

Recently I had the opportunity to discuss with Change Inc. our long term commitment to sustainable coffee practices, and more specifically the launch of our compostable capsules.

We are very excited to bring this new range to our consumers in The Netherlands and provide the opportunity to compost, or recycle. Whatever is most convenient for the consumer, with a similar carbon footprint for both options. And ofcourse, we never compromise on taste! We invite everyone to try the new coffees in one of our boutiques and discover the same irresistible taste, now available in paper based compostable capsules!
