Kim Cook is a creative individual with a passion for creating impactful stories, community projects, and experiences, while successfully managing urban, regional, national, and international projects.

Education-wise, Kim studied Certificate in Dramturgie Circasienne in France and Belgium, pursued an M.A. in Arts & Consciousness from John F. Kennedy University, and earned a B.A. in Performing Arts specializing in Music, Theater, and Dance from California State University - East Bay.

Kim Cook has held various significant positions in organizations, including serving as a Strategic Advisor at Agapolis Project, Director of Creative Initiatives at Burning Man Project, Creative Director at Moment Factory, Director of Art & Civic Engagement at Burning Man Project, President & CEO at Arts Council of New Orleans, Associate Director at Nonprofit Finance Fund, Fellow at Kennedy Center, Owner of TopLine Creative, Artistic/Executive Director at Theater Artaud, and Executive Director at Oakland Youth Chorus.

Kim is driven by a thirst for adventure, learning, discovery, and fun, all while achieving goals that increase mutual understanding, advance civic well-being, elevate cultural engagement, and enhance the aesthetic design elements within communities.
