Kirstie Farmer is a highly educated professional with a diverse background in various fields of study.

She is currently the Senior Gender Adviser at the Gender Capacity Standby Project and has previously worked as a Research and Policy Adviser for Legal Assistance (ICLA) at the Norwegian Refugee Council, an Information Management Officer at the World Food Programme, a Humanitarian Affairs Officer at the United Nations OCHA, a Human Rights Officer at the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, a Protection Officer at UNHCR, and a Human Rights Intern at OSCE.
