Kirstin L. Jones is a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to economic empowerment and diversity & inclusion. With over 6 years of experience in the government and nonprofit sectors, she currently holds a position as a Finance Analyst at the Obama Foundation, supporting the Foundation's Chief Financial Officer in financial leadership and business diversity efforts.

Previously, Kirstin served in the Obama Administration as a political appointee at the U.S. Small Business Administration, where she worked closely with Administrator Maria Contreras-Sweet, advocating for small businesses nationwide. Following her time in the administration, she provided support to the COO, CFO & EVP at RLJ Lodging Trust, a prominent hotel real estate trust.

Kirstin is an alumna of Barnard College, Columbia University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Loyola University Chicago, Quinlan School of Business, as a Baumhart Scholar, focusing on social impact.

Her professional journey includes roles such as Deputy Chief of Staff, Finance & Public Engagement at the Obama Foundation, Finance Analyst at the Obama Foundation, Scheduler to Congressman Donald S. Beyer, Jr. at the U.S. House of Representatives, Executive Assistant at RLJ Lodging Trust, Special Assistant at the U.S. Small Business Administration, Associate at The White House, and various internships in government affairs and administration.
