Kirstyn A. Flood, MPAP, is an experienced Public Affairs Specialist currently working at the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC), where she focuses on overseeing pandemic relief spending and coordinating oversight of the Federal Government's pandemic response to identify fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement. The PRAC, established by the CARES Act, plays a crucial role in mitigating risks across various programs and agencies in the pandemic response. As a part of the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency, the PRAC comprises 22 member Inspectors General.

Kirstyn has a strong educational background, holding a Master of Public Administration and Policy (MPAP) from American University, a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Arts in Multi-Platform Journalism from the University of Maryland. Her diverse academic foundation has equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary for her roles in public affairs and communications.

Throughout her career, Kirstyn has held several significant positions in various organizations. She has previously served as the Communications and Marketing Manager at the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, the Press Secretary and Digital Director at the U.S. House of Representatives, and the Communications Coordinator and Assistant at the Economic Policy Institute. Furthermore, she has experience working as a Special Assistant at Civic Nation, an Education Fellow at the BARR Center, and a Civic Advisors Fellow at Civic Nation. Kirstyn's background also includes congressional internships at the U.S. House of Representatives and experience in public relations and journalism through roles such as PR Intern at AAUW - College Park and Freelance reporter/Reporting intern at various news outlets.
