Digital Platform thinking by big pharma
Here is the second #bigpharma Direct to Consumer platform (DTC) launched recently. Following Eli Lilly and Company's Lilly Direct, here is PfizerForAll by Pfizer.
The new website and patient platform, aims to help patients more quickly access #migraine treatments as well as vaccines and treatments for respiratory viruses like COVID-19 and the flu. While these are all products of Pfizer, the company contends that patients will not be forced to choose a Pfizer drug. That decision, they say, will remain in the hands of clinicians.
While similar DTC platforms exist, from lesser names so far, it will be interesting to see how at some point they will start to team-up with #digitalhealth and #digitaltherapeutics (DTx) offerings.
Here is the press release and a nice comparator of both platforms by Yahoo https://lnkd.in/ewqmAPdS and https://lnkd.in/ebBXyMsN
