Anne Koizumi is an independent filmmaker and media arts educator based in Calgary, Alberta.13 She specializes in stop-motion animation and has created several short films exploring personal narratives and complex emotions.1

Koizumi graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in film production in 2004.1 She later pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree to further study filmmaking.1 Some of her notable works include:
