A proud alum of The College Board as I read their response defending AP African American Studies to the FDOE.
All students, regardless of where they live, deserve to engage with rigorous coursework like AP — particularly when a state seeks to deny access through censorship and indoctrination.
In part: "We believe every student should have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the facts and evidence of the African American experience...This course has a great deal to offer to students from every background, and it is particularly resonant for African American students."

Earlier today, Deloitte released its second annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Transparency Report. As a data-driven organization, we leverage metrics to help understand the work we need to do and those we’re serving. Keeping with that commitment, we highlight the substantial progress made toward our 2025 goals in this year’s report.
Our journey of allyship continues, and I'm energized by Deloitte's commitment to the "slow boring of hard boards" to bring to fruition this necessary work.
While we have additional work to do, it’s clear that together, we’re a powerful force for progress — and I encourage you to explore the full report which is linked in the comments.
I'm thrilled to contribute in a small way to our DEI goals. Working alongside Margaret Anderson (she/her), Ashton Astbury, Cliff Sakutukwa, Aisha Miller, Madi Perez, MS, Catelyn Bernstein, Vamsi Mohan Moola, SPHR, SCP, PMP, and Sunny Verma has been one of the best aspects of my time at Deloitte. I couldn't ask for a more people-focused, driven group.
