Krishna Venkataram is a well-known academic professional with a rich background in mechanical engineering and music.

Currently serving as the Dean of Student Affairs and Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at PES University, Krishna has been actively involved in academia since 1993.

He leads the Process Modeling Research Lab at PESU where his research interests include steel quenching studies, heat exchanger optimization, and electronics cooling.

Apart from his academic pursuits, Krishna is also a renowned Mridangam Artiste and serves as the Executive Director at the Percussive Arts Centre.

Krishna Venkataram's educational journey includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore Institute of Technology, a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, and a Masters in Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.

Furthermore, he has a strong academic foundation from studying Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry at National College and completing his schooling from Vijaya High School in Bangalore.

In his professional career, Krishna has held positions such as Professor and Chairperson in the Department of Mechanical Engineering - Post Graduate Studies at PES University and served as a Lecturer at Sir M Visveswaraya Institute of Technology.

Krishna Venkataram's expertise lies in the fields of mechanical engineering, research in process modeling, and music, making him a multifaceted professional with a passion for academia and the arts.
