Kristen Ward is a versatile public health and international development professional, with a strong foundation in corporate philanthropic strategy, program management, research, and evaluation. She is dedicated to utilizing evidence-based strategies to address complex issues at the nexus of health and economic development. Kristen brings expertise in health, water and sanitation development, health systems strengthening, and nutrition, enriched by academic accomplishments: a Master of Public Health from the University of Pennsylvania with a global health and nutrition focus, and a Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University in Politics, specializing in African Studies and Global Health and Health Policy. Her academic undertakings span from researching the impacts of civil war on public health outcomes in West Africa to employing spatial analysis methods to study adolescent handheld phone use while driving. Kristen's professional journey includes ventures into U.S. policy domains such as health access, insurance, pharmaceuticals, and online community development and management.
