Kristina McMillan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health inequalities, public policy, strategy management, community development, and immigrant settlement.

She holds a Master of Science in Health Inequalities and Public Policy from The University of Edinburgh, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in International Development from The University of Winnipeg.

Kristina currently serves as the Director of Collaboration & Accountability at the Department of Health and Wellness within the Government of Nova Scotia, where she plays a pivotal role in driving initiatives that promote public health and equality.

Prior to her current role, she held the position of Senior Delivery Officer in the Office of Strategy Management at the Government of Nova Scotia, showcasing her expertise in strategic planning and execution.

With a strong background in community engagement, Kristina has also served as the Community Food Centre Director at NorWest Co-op Community Health Centre, illustrating her commitment to improving community health and well-being through innovative programs and services.

Her experience as an Immigrant Settlement Worker at NorWest Co-op Community Health Centre further underscores her dedication to supporting newcomers and fostering inclusivity.

Additionally, Kristina has leveraged her skills as a Special Project Coordinator at Food Matters Manitoba, demonstrating her versatility in managing diverse projects and contributing to the advancement of food security initiatives.
