Kristine Beckerle is a highly educated individual with a diverse background. She holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, where she also pursued a legal career. Prior to that, she engaged in Social Studies and Modern Standard Arabic studies at Harvard University. Additionally, she advanced her knowledge of the Arabic language at the American University's Arabic Language Institute.

Kristine Beckerle has an extensive professional history within various organizations. Her roles have included Legal Director of Accountability and Redress at Mwatana for Human Rights, Yemen and UAE Researcher at Human Rights Watch, and Finberg Fellow at Human Rights Watch. She has also showcased her legal expertise as an Ella Baker Legal Intern at the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) and a Legal Associate at the Documentation Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam). Furthermore, she has contributed her skills as a Protection Research Officer and Gender and Protection Intern at UNRWA, as well as serving as a Volunteer Teacher at Baqa'a Refugee Camp Community Organization. With her time as an Intern at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, she gained valuable insights into international organizations. Additionally, she has experience as a Research and Communications Assistant at Reporters Without Borders.
