Kristine DeLuca

Kristine M. DeLuca is the Director of The Cornell Commitment and the Meinig Family Cornell National Scholars program at Cornell University.1 She has extensive experience in student development and leadership, having previously served as the Director of Career Services for the College of Human Ecology and as a non-profit/government career advisor for Cornell Career Services.1

DeLuca holds a B.A. in Sociology from Ithaca College and an M.A. in Human Development from Cornell University's College of Human Ecology.1 In her role, she focuses on developing and applying leadership skills, particularly for the Meinig Scholars program.1

Outside of her professional duties, DeLuca is actively involved in community service. She currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors for The Learning Web, a non-profit organization assisting youth in Tompkins County.12 This aligns with her personal belief in leadership through service to others.

DeLuca is also a mother of four adult children, enjoys singing in an acapella group, and participates in outdoor activities like kayaking in upstate New York.1
