Kristine Milburn, EdD, is a dedicated and dynamic educator with a focus on providing students with a challenging and comprehensive education.

Her expertise lies in Education Leadership, Gifted/Talented programming, and Secondary English/Language Arts, including various specialized areas such as Advanced Placement Language and Composition, Literature, American Literature, and Independent Literature Survey.

She holds an EdD in Education Leadership from Drake University, an MAE in Educational Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa, and a BA in English, French, Secondary Education from Central College.

Kristine has a rich professional background, having served as a Professional Development/Curriculum Facilitator for Gifted/Talented programming and as a former Visiting Professor at the University of Iowa and Concurrent Enrollment Professor at Des Moines Area Community College.

She has also been actively involved in various educational organizations, including working as a Consultant at KM Solutions, LLC, serving on the Literacy Standards Review Committee as Co-Chair at the Iowa Department of Education, and participating in initiatives like Content Reviewer/Digital Library Participant at Smarter Balanced.

Kristine's passion for education and leadership is further demonstrated through her roles as a Local Coordinator at Belin-Blank's AP Teacher Training Institute, as well as her teaching experience at WDMCS, Red Oak Community Schools, and involvement in the field of AP education.
