I was part of Fast Track for Azure (FTA), focusing on security (Microsoft Sentinel, Defenders*, Azure AD, …), acting as security category lead for EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
Helping some of the biggest Microsoft Sentinel customers with product adoptions (on scale of 5TB/day+ of data injection), removing blockers and collaborating with product group on customer feedback.
Besides security, also supported customers with hybrid environment, combination of on-prem, Azure, AWS and GCP.
Part of the team that was responsible to help overall security of Azure platform used to host services with Qatar 2022 World Cup. Performing multiple security reviews of platform and threat modeling.
Acting as technical lead on, 3-year 10M+ USD project improving overall security of Qatar Government ministries and agencies as Cyber Security Consultant. Coordinating with team of 20+ premier engineers who have been doing assessment, creating overall threat picture and presenting results.
Hosting “Red vs Blue” exercises to help participants understand possible attacks in sand-box environment. Commonly identified gaps have been put into lab and attack was performed to show potential consequences, at same time different security tools have been used to show traces of those attacks and how to looks for patterns. In second part hardening have been performed to show how to stop attack in first place. I have been holding those exercises for many years, for both “normal” customer and multiple “three letter” agencies.
Having high scripting skills, specially PowerShell, I used this to automate migrations, deployments, monitoring ..
Before almost completely focusing on cloud, I was leading multiple migration and merge projects for large companies.
