Highlights
Starting a business in Europe hasn't been easy. But like life, its been chaotic and totally worth it...
Almost exactly one year ago, Jasmine (ARC co-founder) and I had dinner in London and chatted about how we could start a consultancy together. We had been talking about it for months and finally thought it was time to put our ideas into action. Neither of us felt the 9-5 corporate lifestyle was meant for us anymore. We wanted flexibility and passion in our work even at the sacrifice of a steady paycheck and benefits.
Here's what happened next - 📆 We brainstormed every week for at least an hour to craft out our ideas ☎️ We called in favors from our friends and network - we took their feedback seriously ❤️ We asked Julia Wünscher to join us, she said yes! 🚀 We respond to our first big RFP and won! 😳 We needed more support and asked Max Sather to join us, he said yes! ⭐️ We developed a brand identity and offering
Last year we spent nearly 5 months creating, drafting, throwing away ideas, and starting over again. We went nearly 5 months with no income, no paycheck, just vibes 🤟🏽
This year we are set to nearly quadruple impact since we launched in Q4 2023. We've grown beyond our freelance model and have begun the process of becoming a UG (Unternehmergesellschaft aka entrepreneurial limited corporation) here in Germany 🇩🇪
It hasn't been easy, but we're on the path of seeing dreams turn into reality 🤩
Thank you to everyone who has been supportive of ARC Projects - we truly appreciate all of you!

We can learn a lot about workplace leadership from the Dawn Staley...
It's been two weeks since Dawn Staley and the South Carolina Gamecocks won the NCAA Women's National Championship. Since then, I've been studying Dawn, reflecting on her coaching style and trying to articulate what makes her a great coach. Here's what I've learned:
🏀 Be vulnerable 🏀 Top talent needs rest too, even at critical moments 🏀 Nurture junior talent, their role is important on the team 🏀 Let players be themselves 🏀 Embrace equity 🏀 It's ok when your best team members leave for more challenging opportunities 🏀 Keep calm especially in tough situations
