Krysta Harden

President and CEO at U.S. Dairy Export Council

Krysta Harden is the Executive Vice President of Global Environmental Strategy at Dairy Management Inc. and the Chief Operating Officer at the U.S. Dairy Export Council. With a strong background in agriculture, sustainability, and food policy, she leads in defining the vision and strategy for U.S. dairy's environmental commitment.

She collaborates with dairy farmers and industry leaders through the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy to identify science-backed practices that enhance the positive impact of the dairy industry on the environment and its role in sustainable food systems. Krysta also provides leadership on the Innovation Center's Environmental Stewardship Committee.

Prior to her current roles, Krysta held significant positions at Corteva Agriscience, DuPont, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). At USDA, she contributed to shaping food and agriculture policy, focusing on the implementation of the 2014 Farm Bill. Her experience also includes leading the National Association of Conservation Districts and working on Capitol Hill for over a decade.

Krysta has a passion for expanding opportunities in agriculture for various groups including women, young individuals, immigrants, socially disadvantaged producers, returning veterans, and retirees. She studied Communication and Journalism at The University of Georgia.
