Krystal Grover is a young professional and student actively involved in healthcare, research, and social initiatives. She co-founded The Bloom Red Project, a non-profit organization focused on addressing period poverty and stigma across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).14

As of January 2025, Krystal is a Health Sciences student at McMaster University and an intern at the Yale Centre for Clinical Investigation.3 She recently completed a summer internship at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in the Genetics & Genome Biology department.2

The Bloom Red Project, which Krystal co-founded, has made significant strides in combating period poverty. The organization has donated over 300 period products, raised $400 in funds, and reached more than 1,500 people through social media campaigns.1 Krystal leads a team of over 90 individuals across the GTA in this initiative.4
