He furthered his education at Technical University Berlin, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Mechanical Engineering and Transportation. This interdisciplinary education equipped Kuno with both the analytical and technical skills needed in today’s dynamic work environment.
Throughout his career, Kuno has held a variety of roles that showcase his ability to adapt and lead in different sectors. As the co-founder of Oromo Coffee, he has combined his entrepreneurial spirit with his love for sustainable farming practices. This innovative venture not only promotes high-quality coffee but also supports fair trade and empowers local coffee farmers. Before venturing into the coffee industry, Kuno honed his project management skills as a Project Manager at Cyber Innovation Hub. In this role, he led various projects focused on technological advancements and innovative solutions that foster digital transformation. His experience as an intern at prominent organizations such as Kilimanjaro Plantation Ltd. and ARB Investment Partners GmbH provided him with insights into both agricultural practices and investment management. Additionally, his internships at Audit Tax Consulting GmbH and Mechanized Mining Solutions allowed him to develop a robust understanding of financial and operational efficiencies across different sectors.
Kuno's early career was characterized by diverse experiences, including a working student position at WWF Solar GmbH, where he contributed to sustainable energy initiatives, and technical internships at WWF GmbH and Finow Automotive GmbH, where he applied his engineering knowledge in real-world contexts. His training as a reserve officer in the German Armed Forces instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and leadership, skills that he continues to leverage throughout his career.
