Kurt Griffin

Todd and Linda Broin Chair for Diabetes Research at Sanford Research

Dr. Kurt Griffin is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse academic background and extensive experience in pediatric endocrinology.

He completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where he also pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell and Developmental Biology.

Dr. Griffin further specialized in pediatric care through a Pediatric Residency at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital and a Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from Santa Clara University.

Throughout his career, Dr. Griffin has held key positions in prestigious organizations. He currently serves as the Todd and Linda Broin Chair for Diabetes Research at Sanford Research.

Previously, he was the Director of Clinical Trials at The Sanford Project at Sanford Research and an Associate Professor of Pediatric Endocrinology at The University of South Dakota, Sanford School of Medicine.

Dr. Griffin has also contributed his expertise as an Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson and as a Senior Staff Fellow at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD).

His vast knowledge and experience make him a respected figure in the field of pediatric endocrinology.
