Highlights
It was touching for Horizons Community to be mentioned in a recent Forbes article on the family office event of the future. Summit was a big inspiration for me when creating Horizons so it's special to be mentioned next to them. From Intelligent Change Summit, Giant Ventures Ideas, to Founders Forum Group, it's clear that there's a growing focus on events designed to cultivate deeper connections and more meaningful insight. It's extremely fun to be creating experiences in a time when there are other players doing such awesome things!
Francois Botha - thanks for the mention! Also, a special appreciation to Tom Hodson Isabel Engels Richard Blackwell

This month we hosted our Horizons Community Silicon Valley Forum, hosting 25 members and meeting 39 incredible investors, founders, and operators. Highlights included visiting Tom Blomfield and Brad Flora at Y Combinator, the NASA Ames Research Center Director Eugene Tu, meeting Zachary Bookman hours after he sold OpenGov Inc. (and shamelessly signing him up to Horizons...), and being personally hosted by David Glynn's 80-year-old mother!
Following the trip I can confirm that people in the Bay Area drink less and go to bed ridiculously early and are annoyingly optimistic, rich, and successful. I'm sure there is no correlation between these facts.
