Our team had a wonderful day today, welcoming high school interns from Flare Education to the Museum of Science. I joined Flare as a member of their Advisory Board earlier this year to help extend the impact of our work here at the Museum, offer support within the community, and drive education and development for youth. Flare Education provides critical training and experiences for high-needs students, helping close the opportunity and achievement gaps (a mission that parallels what we strive to do within our HR team with intern programming). Our team partnered with Flare to showcase future career opportunities, seeing how a unique environment like ours houses many functions and career pathways, and, of course... Science!
I look forward to the continual partnership with Flare and am excited to see how we can impact students with meaningful development and educational experiences. A special thank you to Mason G. and Ajit Vakharia for their thoughtfulness and leadership at Flare, allowing me to jump and collaborate on a very special mission!
