Kyle Matter
Managing Director, KKR, Head of North America for Global Impact
Kyle Matter is a member of the KKR Global Impact team, having joined KKR Capstone in 2010 and later transitioning to Global Impact as a full-time investing team member.
During his tenure at KKR Capstone, Mr. Matter spearheaded value creation efforts for KKR's energy investing platform, playing a pivotal role in the entire investment decision lifecycle.
His responsibilities included collaborating with investment professionals, contributing an operational perspective, developing investment themes, conducting due diligence, and overseeing operational transformations within energy portfolio companies.
Prior to his focus on the Energy team, Kyle worked with various portfolio companies including Visant, Del Monte / Big Heart Pet Brands, and Kodak.
Before joining KKR Capstone, he gained valuable experience at Bain & Company in Chicago, working across different industries and supporting private equity firms in the due diligence process.
Kyle Matter holds a B.S. and M.S. in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University, as well as an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
