Highlights
I'm excited to announce the launch of a hobby project, Home Workouts ( https://homeworkouts.org/ ). The goal of this project was to do something fun that I feel the Internet needs; a growing repository of home exercises, concisely written, easy to navigate, and gets right to the point. Also, the website is extremely fast, scoring 100/100 on all of the performance and user experience metrics Google pays attention to.
Special thanks to Benjamin Nelson for visual design and illustration, and Becky Williams for user experience design. Content is outsourced to a writer who has a doctor in physical therapy, and is also a strength coach.
We only have 22 exercises so far, all focused on bodyweight. But another 20 are in the works, split between kettlebell and dumbbell exercises.
Lastly, the emphasis on 'hobby' and 'fun' is because of how competitive the fitness space is. The Google search demand on these topics is in the millions of searches per month in the aggregate. We have no real hope of competing, but maybe we will some day!
